Overview
Health Care Support Worker School Nursing (Welsh Essential) role at Lehrman Cameron Studio, LLC. This is a Fixed Term/Secondment vacancy until 31/12/2027 to meet the needs of the service. The post is 22.5 hours per week, term time only. The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post. The School Nursing service is part of the wider Children\'s Health services and delivers the Healthy Child Programme (5-19) to improve child health outcomes.

Responsibilities
* Work under the direction of the Clinical Team Leader to provide efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative and clinical support to the School Nursing Service.
* Carry out visits to schools as part of the Child Measurement Programme (CMP) to weigh and measure children and young people.
* Support the nursing team in the delivery of health interventions, e.g. immunisation programmes and health education sessions.
* Plan, organise and prioritise own workload, while accepting direction and delegation from higher level administrative staff, clinical staff and managers.
* Exercise good judgement and discretion when dealing with patient inquiries, providing basic identification of needs within the scope of the job and nonclinical advice about admissions and appointments as authorised by the clinical team and team leaders.
* Support administrative staff with general office duties (photocopying, faxing, printing, handling of post, making and sending appointments, filing as agreed with the Professional Lead).
* Assist with preparation of documentation for CMP, including preparation of consent forms when required.
* Attend interviews and other service activities as required.

* The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
