We are seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Officer to join our team, with a specific focus on investigating, diagnosing and resolving issues related to damp, mould and disrepair across our housing stock. You will play a key role in ensuring that homes are maintained to a high standard and are safe, warm and habitable for our residents. This is an essential position that supports our commitment to tackling housing-related health hazards and delivering excellent customer service. You may be required to: - Undertake property inspections and diagnostics focused on damp, mould, condensation, and general disrepair. - Produce clear and detailed inspection reports including photographic evidence, schedules of work, and technical recommendations. - Liaise with residents to investigate complaints and explain findings and remedial works. - Instruct and supervise contractors, ensuring works are carried out to a high standard and within agreed timescales. - Keep accurate records using the organisation's asset and housing management systems. - Contribute to continuous service improvement and support programmes aimed at preventing damp and disrepair issues.
