Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Delivery Driver / Installer for a well-established client based in Central Widnes. This is a temporary-to-permanent role offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity for immediate start.
Details
* Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:15pm (some flexibility required due to delivery schedules).
* 30-minute lunch break (flexible timing).
Key Responsibilities
* Picking, preparing, and loading stock for deliveries.
* Delivery and professional installation of products in client homes.
* Assembling products accurately according to company specifications.
* Organising stock and maintaining a clean, tidy warehouse environment.
* Checking in and recording stock arrivals.
* Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Full clean driving licence essential.
* No criminal record.
* Previous experience in delivery and warehouse roles preferred.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Flexibility regarding working hours and occasional overnight stays (1-2 times per month).
* Basic IT and admin skills for stock management using computerised systems.
* Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.
* Forklift truck (FLT) experience beneficial but not essential.
Additional Role Information
* Starting pay rate: £12.56 per hour, with a pay increase after 12 weeks of service.
* Food allowance provided for extended road time (£5 for over 5 hours, £10 for over 10 hours).
* 24 days holiday per year plus 8 public holidays, accrued.
* DBS check required for the role.
