THE COMPANY
A global healthcare manufacturer with a strong UK presence and reputation for quality, innovation and clinical excellence. Their portfolio spans pressure ulcer prevention, specialist seating, safe moving & handling, rental solutions and bathroom safety equipment. With continued investment and growth across both acute and community sectors, they are now seeking a commercially astute Regional Commercial Manager to lead the South Thames region.
THE JOB
* Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a hybrid sales and leadership position responsible for driving regional growth while managing and developing a team of Clinical Specialists.
* You will take strategic ownership of new business development, tenders, framework agreements, and key contracts across the full product portfolio.
* Stakeholders will include Tissue Viability Nurses, Manual Handling Advisors, Loan Store Managers, Procurement, Finance Directors and senior NHS leadership up to C-suite level.
* This role requires someone comfortable operating strategically – identifying large-scale opportunities, shaping rental and service propositions, and ensuring successful contract implementation – while also leading from the front commercially.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Must have strong background within the moving & handling / patient handling sector
* Ideally some management experience leading field-based clinical or commercial teams
* Track record of tender management and NHS contract negotiation
* Experience across acute and community sectors highly desirable
* Commercially driven with a strategic “hunter” mindset
* Full UK driving licence
THE PACKAGE FOR REGIONAL COMMERCIAL MANAGER
* Basic: £60,000 – £70,000
* Bonus: 40% uncapped
* Car: Fully expensed company car or £800pcm allowance
* Benefits: Pension, 24 days holiday + stats
