Offer description

We're currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for our client based in Bishop's Stortford.


The successful candidate must have proven experience in an operational role, ideally within fintech, lending, or a financial services environment.


Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30 minute commute of the area.


Benefits:

* Basic £45,000 - £50,000

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the Founder across all aspects of the business
* Oversee a team of Brokers, including onboarding, supporting, training and retention
* Support the ongoing development and management of the newly created app, liaising with technical partners to ensure functionality and scalability
* Manage lending operations to ensure timely and accurate deal progression from approval through to funding
* Develop and implement operational processes and structures to improve efficiency and scalability
* Provide strategic input to support the Founder in shaping the business vision and executing plans
* Carry out core administrative tasks, including scheduling, emails, and meeting coordination
* Act as a key point of contact across the business, ensuring smooth communication and delivery


Key Skills:

* Proven experience in an operational role, ideally within fintech, lending, or a financial services environment.
* Demonstrated ability to use initiative, anticipate needs, and take ownership of tasks
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Comfortable working across both strategic projects and day-to-day operational tasks
* Adaptable with an understanding of how technology can support business growth
* Able to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail
* Desire and drive to join a start-up business to support in the long term growth and success
