Job Title: Team Leader - Children's service

Locations: Bushbury, Wolverhampton, Other locations available

Are you looking to join an Outstanding Children's Therapeutic Service and have your Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare, if so, we have the role for you.

Our home in Wolverhampton is a Children's residential home in the local community supporting up to three Children/young people with mental health, EBD and other associated needs.

* Salary: Up to this includes an average of 10 sleep ins per month

Hours: Average 40 hours per week (2 on 4 off day rota)

Contract: Permanent

Job Summary:

As the Team Leader for the Children's Home, some of your duties will be:

* Working with the Management team to ensure that systems and standards are maintained at a high quality level.
* You will be nominated daily shift lead, by planning organising and ensuring completion of team duties for the day and handover to oncoming shifts.
* You must be able to motivate, support and guidance for staff on duty, on all shifts. Provide Staff supervision and appraisals.
* To provide on call support for staff, from home on a rota basis.
* Organising rotas and ensuring correct deployment of staff team
* To actively promote and take part in social, leisure, educational, life skills, holidays and other activities with children and young people.
* To support each young person to maintain a high standard of personal care; including intimate care, personal hygiene, health and sexual health needs and awareness and any mobility support that is needed.
* To support the medical health needs of children and young people, inclusive of medication administration, medical appointments and therapeutic and mental health and wellbeing needs.

Qualification & Experience

* Experience in Residential childcare (Essential)
* Qualified - You must hold a Diploma Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare or equivalent (Essential)
