About The Role
HP Autonomy seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. This crucial role ensures the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software applications, playing a vital part in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design review to final release. You will contribute significantly to our product quality and the success of a rapidly growing technology company. Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
* Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
* Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
* Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve identified issues and improve software quality.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
* Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
* Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our testing strategy within the context of our rapidly expanding data analytics portfolio.
* Work closely with development teams to understand the technical aspects of our software and ensure thorough testing coverage.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to software quality.
Qualifications
* Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A relevant Associate`s degree with significant experience in software testing will also be considered.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing; up to 5 years of experience preferred.
