Purpose of the role
To provide a primary liaison service between the business, technology, and security functions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and support the mitigation of security risk.
Accountabilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their security requirements in business processes and IT projects, to enhance overall risk management.
2. Execute risk assessments to identify and prioritise potential cybersecurity threats that could impact the bank's operations and data, and guide the implementation of mitigation strategies, communicating findings to relevant senior stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with business units to develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with the risk management framework.
4. Manage the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across the bank's IT systems to ensure their effectiveness and risk mitigation.
5. Create and deliver training sessions to educate employees, enhance cybersecurity awareness, and provide guidance on safe online practices.
6. Manage complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts to resolve cases through analysis, support, and supervision.
7. Identify emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to address potential risks by advocating for new security solutions.
