Purpose
Feed the pulpers according to the daily loading sheet, ensuring compliance with working instructions and safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
1. Pick bales of pulp or converting broke, de-wire (pulp unit and single bale), and load onto conveyor following the specified loading schedule, entering details into the stock management system.
2. Familiarize with the functioning and automation of relevant plant equipment.
3. Operate the de-wiring conveyor, pulper feed conveyors, and steel wire baler.
4. Identify potential contaminants in bales and isolate them.
5. Perform routine checks on equipment and installations, reporting faults as needed.
6. Operate equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
7. Maintain equipment to ensure daily operational functionality, following work instructions.
8. Assist with operation and cleaning of the paper machine as required, including all trained tasks.
9. Comply with standards for quality, environment, and health and safety.
10. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the shift.
11. Adhere to health & safety rules.
