4. The daily schedule is designed with your interests in mind, allocating 3 hours daily for breaks, calls, and admin to prevent overwhelm and ensure timely departure.

7. Salary up to £70,000 (FTE, DOE).
8. With a varied caseload, you'll have opportunities to expand your skills, including working with visiting specialists in cardiology, soft tissue, orthopaedics, and seeing exotics.
9. One hour of protected paid lunch break.
10. No OOH, bank holidays, or Sundays; Saturdays are on a 1 in 5 basis (9am to 1pm).
11. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

The practice comprises 5 veterinary surgeons, including 3 with over 10 years of experience, supported by visiting specialists in cardiology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and imaging. The caseload is diverse, including exotic animals, offering excellent opportunities for professional growth.
The team includes 5 RVNs, three of whom perform schedule 3 procedures. They work in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Located just south of Preston in North West England, the practice benefits from excellent transport links to Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, and the Lake District, making it a great commuter role.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing practice. This full or part-time role offers room for personal and professional development.
Working hours are typically 20-40 per week, usually across four days, including one in five Saturday mornings (9am to 1pm). There are no OOH, Sundays, or bank holidays.
The practice prioritizes your well-being, with dedicated time for breaks, calls, and admin to prevent overwhelm and promote work-life balance.
