Our client is seeking a Business Support Officer to coordinate the transportation of incoming goods in a timely and safe manner, based at their site in Oldgate, Widnes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Manage the 'goods in/out' process
2. Raise stock orders and maintain purchasing data to ensure timely receipt of goods
3. Raise non-stock orders, ensuring the correct budget centre is used
4. Approve invoices from goods receipt to payment
5. Ensure correct transport labels are printed for outgoing orders
Requirements:
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Experience working as part of a team as an administrator or support officer
* Excellent communication skills and strong networking ability
The role is for 25 hours per week, from 8am to 1pm, Monday to Friday. Our client is flexible and can accommodate school hours.
The rate of pay is £22,105 per annum.
This is a temporary, 12-month fixed-term contract, paid weekly through Exchange People.
