The ideal candidate would have experience in cloud infrastructure including endpoint management, networking, server administration, Azure, and Office 365 as well as a solid understanding of on‑premise technology including networking. This role requires a service‑oriented attitude, excellent verbal and written skills, and a high focus on the quality of work.
This opportunity will be based full time onsite with one of our customers based in Oxford, UK.
Responsibilities
* Provision of dedicated IT support to our customers.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues across a variety of hardware and systems, escalating to a senior engineer or vendor support when appropriate.
* Deliver support on issues of varying complexity across the various sites.
* Set up and maintenance of new users within the client sites.
* Partner with the Account Manager to identify improvement projects and ensure the provision of an outstanding service.
* Understand all compliance requirements on the different customer sites.
* Be cognisant of operational security identifying changes to reduce risk along the way.
* Act as the customer’s first point of contact with Nostra; must be customer focused, enthusiastic, ambitious, and solution focused.
* Prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Required
* 3+ Years’ experience in an IT Engineer, IT Field Engineer, with proven experience within a Microsoft environment.
* IT skills Microsoft related e.g., Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, switches, access points including VLANs and VPN.
* Azure knowledge is a bonus.
* Good English with excellent communication skills.
