Renewable Energy Sales Consultant (Solar & Heat Pumps)

London / Hybrid – Elephant & Castle
£35–40k base + uncapped commission (£50k+ OTE)

Our client is looking for a Renewable Energy Sales Consultant to help homeowners transition to solar and heat pumps, working exclusively with warm inbound enquiries and benefiting from uncapped commission.

As a fast‑growing clean‑energy platform supporting major UK energy brands, including E.ON Next, Good Energy, Aira and So Energy, our client delivers heat pumps, solar PV and home‑electrification solutions to households nationwide. With demand for low‑carbon heating rising rapidly, this role plays a key part in supporting the UK’s shift to cleaner, more affordable energy.

Role Overview

You’ll be the first point of contact for homeowners exploring solar and heat pump options, guiding them through their choices and helping them understand system suitability, costs and expected savings. This is a consultative sales role that blends technical explanation with high‑conversion sales, ensuring customers feel confident from enquiry through to installation.

You’ll work closely with the survey, design and delivery teams to ensure every customer moves smoothly through the process.

What You’ll Do

* Speak with homeowners interested in solar and heat pumps

* Convert inbound enquiries into booked surveys and confirmed installations

* Present system proposals and pricing clearly and confidently

* Manage your sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to close

* Explain running costs, savings, incentives and installation timelines

* Educate customers on schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme

We’re Looking For

* 2–5 years’ experience in sales, inside sales or consultative roles

* Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone

* Ability to simplify technical concepts for customers

* Strong organisational skills and pipeline management

* Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working at pace
