Role Overview
The Hospital Engineer supports Senior Engineers in ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust premises and assets. Responsibilities include liaising with Project teams, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining a suitable environment for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Senior Engineers and collaborate with building engineering and maintenance staff.
* Maintain and oversee on‑going operation of premises, assets, and key systems.
* Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to Trust policies, Department of Health guidance (HTM/HBN), and industry best practice.
* Participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services aligned with Estates and Facilities vision.
* Meet performance criteria in quality, timeliness, cost/resource utilisation, and health & safety management.
