Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Analyst role based in the City of Bristol. The Analyst will research and analyze open-source and database information to support due diligence and compliance reporting for clients across a range of sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering data from multiple jurisdictions, verifying facts, identifying risks, and synthesizing findings into clear, well-structured reports. The role involves working with multilingual colleagues, liaising with senior analysts to scope assignments, and ensuring that all research meets internal quality, accuracy, and transparency standards. The Analyst will also contribute to improving research methodologies, maintaining internal knowledge resources, and supporting tight deadlines within a client-focused environment.
Qualifications
* Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate sources, distinguish fact from speculation, and identify potential red flags or risk indicators.
* Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, well-structured reports in clear professional English.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency when reviewing and validating information drawn from multiple databases and open sources.
* Comfort working with data and digital research tools; proficiency with standard office software and online research platforms.
* Demonstrated interest or experience in due diligence, compliance, risk analysis, investigations, or related fields (e.g., financial crime, sanctions, ESG).
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
* Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team of analysts and linguists.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as International Relations, Law, Politics, Economics, Area Studies, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
* Proficiency in one or more additional languages beyond English is highly beneficial
