About the role
Vision for Education is excited to offer this bespoke opportunity to support passionate individuals entering the education sector. We collaborate with client schools to provide successful Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.
After a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a Newcastle school to develop your skills. We will assist you in establishing your identity as an educator and help you choose your specialist area from EYFS, KS1, KS2.
Before starting your placement, you must complete a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills to work as a Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of schools. Effective Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills, a passion for supporting children's needs, and the ability to build relationships with staff, children, and families.
The specific duties of a Teaching Assistant vary by school. You may support classroom teaching, run small group interventions, or work on a 1:1 basis to meet individual needs and support children’s development.
