Overview
We are recruiting for Clinical Support Workers—Theatres who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Responsibilities
You will work alongside Registered Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners, get Theatre ready, ensuring the correct equipment is available while maintaining a sterile environment. You will assist the registered practitioner, ensuring excellent patient care that aligns with our trust values. This role may involve working in any Theatre area, both at the Lister or QE2, helping to set up your allocated Theatre and ensuring all equipment needed for the day is ready. You will also be trained in the Pre‑Op area, where you will take basic patient observations and stay with them until they are called to Theatre.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Must be 18+ years old.
* Willingness to work in a sterile theatre environment.
* Basic communication and teamwork skills.

Recruitment Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual information and guidance session on Wednesday 17th December 2025 at 12:00 pm and 4:30 pm. The Maths and English assessment will take place on Friday 19th December 2025 and the assessment day is in person only.
