Support Staff
Temporary Project and Procurement Co‑ordinator
We welcome applications for this support post to commence as soon as possible for a period of 15 months to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will receive an additional payment of 10% of their actual annual salary on successful completion of the fixed‑term contract.
The Role
Provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support to the Procurement and Projects function, ensuring the effective organisation of project activity and procurement processes.
This is a hands‑on support role requiring a proactive and organised individual who can work both independently and as part of a team, supporting the delivery of projects and procurement activity across the College.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the projects and procurement team
* Maintain accurate project and procurement records, trackers and documentation to ensure audit readiness
* Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes and track actions to completion
* Produce high‑quality reports, spreadsheets and documentation using Microsoft Office
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who has experience in an administrative support role in a busy environment, has experience organising meetings and taking minutes, and has strong Microsoft Office skills.
You should display the values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic ethos of the College and have a commitment to equality/diversity and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
Terms and Conditions
Hours: 37 hours per week, full year. Starting and finishing times as agreed.
Salary: Posted on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff Pay Spine at points 11 to 14 – pro rata to £28,634 to £31,324 per annum. The successful candidate will receive an additional payment of 10% of their actual annual salary on successful completion of the fixed‑term contract.
