Exciting opportunity to join our Trauma orthopaedic team offerring administrative support to the co-ordination of trauma services. We are a busy trauma unit consisting of 2 trauma wards and an increased number of ambulatory trauma patients requiring surgery which is the driving force in this new post at Royal Glamorgan Hospital. Trauma services within CTMUHB continue to evolve and develop developing pathways and protocols to enhance and improve the experience and outcomes for patients within our trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual who has a keen interest in trauma and orthopaedics with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate and assist in the co-ordination of trauma admissions and surgical interventions.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage a robust database of outstanding trauma casesRequest, receive and dispatch case notes, complying with medical records policy, in a timely manner with all contents filed appropriately and processed via WPAS tracking system.
* Involvement in audit and service improvements utilising database on SharePoint
* To undertake clerical and administrator duties, assist with general office duties including receiving, sending and sorting mail, photocopying, printing and distribution as necessary.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable.
