An established and highly respected construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Planner to join their team based outside Glasgow. The successful Planner will play a key role in supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes are managed effectively and projects are delivered on time. This role offers long-term progression opportunities and exposure to complex, multi-million-pound developments across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities of the Planner:
* Develop, manage and maintain detailed construction programmes
* Work closely with project teams to monitor progress and identify risks
* Produce short-term and long-term project plans
* Provide regular reporting and programme updates to senior stakeholders
* Support tender planning and project delivery teams
* Liaise with site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
* Assist with delay analysis and programme optimisation
Requirements of the Planner:
* Previous experience working as a Planner within the construction sector
* Strong knowledge of construction planning and project controls
* Experience using planning software ASTA
* Ability to manage multiple project programmes simultaneously
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Main contractor experience would be advantageous
