Role Responsibilities
* Overseeing and reviewing audit case files to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
* Managing and delivering audit engagements from planning through to completion, working with a variety of clients
* Reviewing audit methodology and processes, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement
* Supporting the training and development of junior auditors, providing coaching and technical guidance
* Identifying efficiencies in audit procedures, recommending changes to enhance quality and accuracy
* Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, developing strong working relationships
* Ensuring all audit assignments are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard

The Ideal Candidate
* ACA or ACCA qualified with significant audit experience
* Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements
* Experience in reviewing audit case files and providing quality assurance
* Proven ability to mentor and develop junior audit professionals
* A technically strong and detail-focused approach, ensuring high-quality audit delivery
* Excellent communication and client management skills, with a proactive and commercial mindset
* Experience using audit and accounting software, such as CCH, Xero, or similar platforms
