We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations and reporting of SJPUK and SJPIA, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. What you'll be doing:
1. You will lead and mentor our Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate and timely statutory and regulatory financial reporting taking responsibility for the below:
2. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial management and regulatory responsibilities.
3. Deliver comprehensive management information to the Boards of SJPUK and SJPIA.
4. Coordinate capital management activities, including dividend proposals.
5. Foster collaboration between financial reporting, Tax, and Actuarial departments.
6. Work closely with SS&C Relationship Manager to enhance operational finance reporting.
7. Support Group reporting team in addressing technical accounting queries.
Who we're looking for: Alongside a qualification in Accountancy (, ACA, ACCA), you’ll have demonstrable experience of interpreting financial data for decision making and be proficient in financial reporting (statutory and regulatory). With experience gained in financial services, preferably with knowledge of life accounting, you will have a passion for process improvement alongside excellent stakeholder management skills.
