Engineering Manager
Leeds

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + up to 15% bonus
Hours: 35 Hours per week (Monday-Thursday 7:30am-3:45pm and Friday 7:30am-11:30am)
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with ROCOL, a global manufacturer of high-performance industrial lubricants, to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager for their manufacturing site in Leeds.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering engineering strategy across the site, drive asset reliability, lead capital projects, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
As Engineering Manager, you will:
* Lead, coach and develop the on-site Maintenance Team
* Deliver engineering projects, installations and continuous improvement initiatives to agreed technical and quality standards
* Manage and deliver capital projects from concept through to completion
* Implement and optimise the site’s Preventative Maintenance Plan
* Drive asset reliability through KPI implementation, monitoring and data analysis
* Lead Root Cause Analysis and corrective action planning
* Oversee site utilities and servicing requirements
* Manage departmental budgets effectively
* Coordinate contractors on site, managing Permit to Work systems and ensuring full SHE compliance
* Maintain engineering documentation including risk assessments, inspections, asset registers and service reports
We’re looking for a technically strong, driven Engineering Manager / leader who can combine strategic direction with practical expertise.
* Engineering qualifications via recognised apprenticeship, vocational training and/or BEng (or similar)
* Experience in an engineering leadership or management role
* Strong hands-on technical knowledge within a manufacturing environment
* Experience implementing TPM and Root Cause Analysis tools
* Proven track record managing capital projects, budgets and external contractors
* Knowledge of UK regulatory compliance including PUWER, LOLER, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
* Working knowledge of COMAH, DSEAR and related legislation (experience within a COMAH-regulated site highly advantageous)
