The UK office is located in Basingstoke, focusing on energy transition projects such as CCS, renewables, and hydrogen.

SmartWorking (Hybrid Working)
Employees can work up to 12 days per month remotely, even during leave, amounting to about 60% remote work.
Role and Main Responsibilities
A Senior Engineer with technical safety expertise will support various projects from feasibility to FEED, mainly related to onshore/offshore oil, LNG, and renewable facilities.
The main responsibilities include:
* Perform analysis, calculations, and studies, delivering safety-related technical outputs following standards and codes.
* Experience in Loss Prevention, Fire Protection, Hazardous Area Classification, Risk Analysis (QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA), HSE philosophies, RAM studies, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessments.
* Supervise subordinate activities, ensuring standards and schedules are met.
* Review and approve technical documents and drawings.
* Provide technical guidance on safety design requirements.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces.
* Contribute to developing company standards and procedures.
* Assist in project planning and proposal activities.
* Stay updated on technological and standards developments.
* Participate in safety reviews like HAZID, HAZOP, SIL.
Candidate Qualifications and Skills
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field, chartered or equivalent certification.
* Chartered Engineer or process safety practitioner certification.
* Knowledge of Eni tools and standards is advantageous.
