Castlefield Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association based in Lancashire who are seeking an experience Risk & Assurance Manager to ensure compliant risk management and safeguard assets.
Key Duties
* Oversee and maintain the Group Risk Management Framework, ensuring it remains aligned to regulatory requirements
* Identify, assess, manage, monitor and report strategic and operational risks.
* Ensure management is clearly understood
* Lead the embedding of risk appetite, tolerance levels and escalation thresholds
* Ensuring informed decision‑making and performance discussions.
* Support the development of an organisational culture where risks and opportunities are clearly understood
* Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Oversee the design, mapping and monitoring of internal controls
* Validate assurance evidence
* Maintain the Group’s strategic risk register/s
* Oversee the outsourced internal audit programme
Person Specification
* Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
* Risk reporting
* Regulatory standards in the Public Sector
* Managing and maintain strategic risk processes
* Business continuity planning experience
