Job Title: Learning Disability Team Manager Salary: £53,111 to £57,109 per annum 37 Hours per Week Location: Wildwood Team: Learning Disability South Team Permanent The Role: Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey while overseeing an established, experienced team? We’re looking for a confident and motivated Team Manager to lead our Adult Learning Disability Social Work Team in Worcestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone already in a management or senior practitioner role who’s ready to broaden their strategic impact and take on a new challenge. You’ll be responsible for leading a skilled team of social workers, advanced practitioners, social care workers, and support staff ensuring high quality, person-centred practice is delivered consistently. The role involves managing performance, embedding risk management, and driving continuous improvement across the service. You’ll work closely with commissioners, partner agencies, and senior leaders to deliver integrated support aligned with the Care Act 2014 and other key legislation. As Team Manager, you’ll also oversee budget management and resource allocation, ensuring services are efficient, responsive, and sustainable. Your leadership will be key in maintaining service quality while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. What we’re looking for: A qualified social worker, ideally with substantial experience in learning disability services. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy, including the Care Act 2014. Excellent communication and partnership working abilities. Confidence in managing budgets, performance, and service improvement initiatives.
