A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT AT OUR HOTEL Prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring every space is clean, comfortable, and welcoming throughout the day and during evening turndown service. Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, corridors, and service areas, ensuring they are spotless, well-presented, and fully stocked. Replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities, making sure every room is ready to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Respond promptly and politely to guest requests, whether it’s delivering extra towels, amenities, or assisting with special room preparations. Report any maintenance issues, lost property, or unusual findings to the housekeeping supervisor to ensure guest safety and comfort. Work closely with the housekeeping team and supervisors to ensure rooms are prepared efficiently and service standards are consistently met. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards, helping to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for guests and colleagues. Carry out evening turndown service, refreshing guest rooms by preparing beds, adjusting lighting and curtains, replenishing amenities, and creating a relaxing environment for our guests. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment. Good time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently during busy service periods. A friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work evening shifts and deliver excellent turndown service. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest care. A strong attention to detail, ensuring every room looks immaculate and ready to exceed guest expectations.
