In 2021, pladis proudly opened the doors to our vibrant global hub, the MIU Campus. Located in the heart of Chiswick Park, West London. Just a short 5-minute walk from Gunnersbury Station, our campus is nestled within 33 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, offering a welcoming and inspiring environment for all. Chiswick Park is home to both our UK and Global Corporate teams, bringing together diverse teams across the business.
What will this role achieve?
The UK Customer Team at pladis employs approximately 150 people across functions including account management, category management and customer marketing and is accountable for the delivery of the commercial budgets across the UK, split into three channels: Grocery; Convenience & Impulse; and Discounters.
As Business Account Manager, you will be fully responsible for the communication and execution of the pladis UK Sales agenda across the high-profile accounts of Costco, Vending & Wholesale Buying Groups.
What will be your key deliverables?
* Build “winning” relationships with all buyers across biscuits & snacks categories, through regular customer meetings.
* Build an account plan that is aligned to the Wholesale Channel sales agenda to hit Budget with Customer(s).
* Build, gain internal alignment & agree an optimal terms package that drives sales, share, feature & distribution gains across customer(s) for pladis.
* Implement the plan with Customer using negotiation skills, creativity and energy to land initiatives.
* Forecasting and delivery of monthly sales and profit targets.
* Own the growth agenda in Customer(s) by identifying & unlocking incremental sales opportunities.
* Review the efficiency of all Biscuits and Snacks promotions and make recommendations on strategic direction.
* Support the pladis Shopper Marketing team in activating campaigns with Customer(s).

* Negotiation training & experience
* Creative flare to turn challenges into opportunities
* Branded experience (as opposed to Retailer Brand).
What will the interview process be?
* Initial Telephone call with Talent Acquisition
* 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
* 2nd stage interview – 60 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process. Some processes may differ, but we will keep you updated!
