Overview
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain documentation of aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, AMM supplements, and ATA chapters; in accordance to airworthiness requirements, internal guidelines, and legal guidelines.
* Create supplementary materials to documentation such as parts list tables and illustrations.
* Analyze engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance, working alongside engineering teams.
* Track revisions to documentation and maintain technical documentation libraries.
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience as a technical writer in Aviation (documenting AMM) with minimum five years experience
* Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
* Experience with the following tools:
o FrameMaker
o Illustrator
o IsodrawCADprocess
o Sketchup
o AutoCAD
o MS Office
o XML - advantage
o Visual Basic - advantage
* Excellent English skills - required
* German language skills - advantage
