Marketing, Communications & PR Trustee

We are seeking a Trustee to devise a Marketing, Communications and PR strategy to promote our values-themed programmes and sustain revenue streams.
Role Summary
* Assist in developing and implementing an integrated strategic marketing and communications plan to advance the brand identity of the HVF and promote the Big Think programmes for ages 3 to 11.
* Help broaden awareness of the charity’s values and priorities; increase visibility across a wider audience.
Meeting Schedule
The trustees meet three times a year: March, June/July near Reading, and mid October, plus the online AGM in mid November.
Essential Qualities
* Marketing and PR/Communication expertise.
* Demonstrated leadership and management, communication and presentation skills.
* Experience of business, commerce or industry.
* Experience of the strategic use of social media as effective communication mechanisms to support services and activities.
Desirable Qualities
* Experience of working within the charity, voluntary and public sector.
