Senior Climate and Sustainability Professional
We're seeking an experienced climate and sustainability practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will have a track-record of delivering complex client assignments in the fields of carbon measurement and reporting, decarbonisation, and net zero transition.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about helping organisations achieve their sustainability goals. You'll be responsible for leading client assignments, managing projects, and developing focused carbon reduction strategies, plans, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex client assignments in carbon measurement and reporting, decarbonisation, and net zero transition.
* Develop focused carbon reduction strategies, plans, and initiatives for organisations.
* Assess and manage climate-related risk/opportunity and develop TCFD-aligned disclosures.
* Have expertise in assessing and managing climate-related risk/opportunity and developing TCFD-aligned disclosures.
* Develop skills in people management and be able to leverage stakeholder relationships to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A demonstrable track-record of successful delivery in carbon measurement and reporting, decarbonisation, and net zero transition.
* Experience of ESG data management systems and people management experience are desirable.
* A thorough understanding of carbon accounting standards, particularly the GHG Protocol.
* Awareness of greenhouse gas reporting legislation.
