Performance Objectives
* Hydrogen content testing
* Tensile Testing
* Vickers Micro-hardness & Rockwell hardness testing
* Grain size Tests
* Bend test
* Potting-up & polishing samples for
o Metallographic testing
o Alpha Case Testing
o Intergranular Attack Testing
o Heat Affected Zone Testing
* Daily and Weekly Analysis of chemical process tanks, calculating & recommending additions of solution top-ups / New make-up
* Manage laboratory stock levels, obtain quotes, order consumables, book goods in
* Support test piece preparation (punching, cutting, drilling etc.)
* Housekeeping duties
* Participate in laboratory audits both internal and external
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (word, excel etc.)
* Operator overchecks
* Internal Calibration of equipment
* Archive/Storage of Test pieces
