Management Accountant | York£50,000 | PE backed businessRobert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a high growth, private equity backed business based on the outskirts of York.The Role:As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and partnering with operational teams to improve financial understanding and control. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear and supported pathway to step up into a Finance Manager role in the future.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accountsBudgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisBusiness partnering with operational teams to support performanceBalance sheet reconciliations and financial reportingSupporting year-end processes and audit preparationIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiencyAbout You:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)Strong experience in management accounting and financial reportingExcellent Excel skills and attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to work across departmentsExperience in a manufacturing or SME environment is desirableAmbitious and ready to take the next step in your careerLocation: YorkSalary: £50,000Type: Full-time, PermanentThis is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to grow with a business and take on more responsibility quickly.
