You will join a cutting edge scientific research environment in a lab based role contributing to the fabrication, testing and characterisation of experimental materials and devices. You'll work closely with scientists across multiple disciplines and play a key part in developing new experimental methods and delivering high quality data. Responsibilities: • Carry out fabrication, formulation, coating and characterisation procedures. • Plan and perform experiments independently or in collaboration with senior scientists. • Accurately record process details, results and observations in internal systems. • Contribute to the development and optimisation of fabrication processes and test protocols. • Maintain a tidy, safe and compliant laboratory environment, including COSHH and risk assessments. • Analyse experimental results and present clear conclusions. • Prepare verbal and written technical reports and contribute to scientific presentations. • Support robust data collection, interpretation and documentation. • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members (e.g., chemists, physicists). • Take ...
