Job Summary
We are seeking an Activities Lead to design and deliver a varied programme of events, hobbies, and social activities that support well being, encourage independence, and make a positive difference to the lives of our residents.
· Creating and leading engaging daily activities, events, and outings tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
· Thinking outside the box to bring fresh, innovative ideas that encourage connection, laughter, and purpose.
· Working closely with residents, families, and the care team to ensure activities are meaningful and inclusive.
· Supporting residents to continue hobbies they love and discover new ones.
· Leading celebrations, themed days, and community events to make our home a vibrant and welcoming place.
About you:
· Warm, enthusiastic, and approachable with a genuine passion for working with older people.
Confident working with people living with Dementia
· Organised and creative – someone who loves coming up with new ideas.
· Confident in leading groups, building rapport, and encouraging participation.
· Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
