GSL Education are hiring an experienced Geography Teacher to work in Sheffield, including the S5 and S9 areas, delivering engaging lessons that explore both human and physical geography. As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons that encourage curiosity about environments, global issues, and communities, helping students build strong subject knowledge in a supportive classroom setting. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach topics such as landscapes, climate, population, and development. Encourage critical thinking and discussion about world issues. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
