Description About the role As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll support the financial operations of The BUSY School by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, payments, direct debits and credit card transactions. You’ll also oversee staff completing AP tasks, maintain large creditor accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems and documentation. Your role will also include assisting with financial statements and reports, performing reconciliations across multiple entities — including intercompany accounts — monitoring cash flow, managing bank reconciliations, and ensuring all financial information is accurate and compliant with organisational policies. Finance or Business related qualification and/or two years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
