Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Craftsman / Installer to join our team. This role combines workshop and site-based work: preparing and assembling timber products, keeping the workshop running smoothly, and installing our buildings to a high standard on customer sites.
The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience in a practical trade (woodworking, joinery, carpentry, or construction). We also offer full training on our specific products, tools, and machinery. A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role includes driving company vehicles to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop Duties
* Cutting and preparing timber using woodworking machinery.
* Assisting with the assembly and finishing of sheds, garden rooms, and bespoke products.
* Preparing framing and materials in advance for upcoming builds.
* Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
* Supporting stock management and minimising waste.
Installation Duties
* Loading and unloading products and materials safely.
* Installing sheds, garden rooms, and timber structures on customer sites.
* Driving company vans when required.
* Working as part of an installation team to deliver projects on time.
* Representing the company professionally and providing excellent customer service.
Skills & Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Previous hands-on experience in a practical trade (woodworking, joinery, carpentry, or construction preferred).
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
* Willingness to learn and take on further training.
