Benefits: Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00 Saturdays paid at time and a half Additional overtime opportunities paid at time and a half Company pension scheme Company van provided Mobile phone supplied On-site training and development, including assistance in obtaining Class 2 Driving Licence and Telehandler Certification for suitable individuals Duties of the HGV Technician: Diagnose, repair, and service a range of HGV vehicles in the workshop Fault finding using manual and digital diagnostic tools Replace and repair faulty vehicle components Prepare repair estimates and discuss work scope with customers Maintain accurate vehicle repair records in liaison with transport managers as a HGV Technician Order parts and liaise with the stores team to ensure availability Support and mentor apprentices or work experience individuals Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role Relevant qualifications, such as Level 3 HGV or Vehicle maintenance certification Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards work and learning opportunities Willingness to undertake training, including obtaining Class 2 Driving Licence and Telehandler Certification if not already held If you are a motivated HGV Technician looking to progress your career within a respected company, we would like to hear from you.
