Process Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing Days£46-50,000We are working with a specialist advanced manufacturing business supporting the aerospace sector, currently looking to appoint a Process Engineer to join their growing team.This is a hands-on, technically focused role where you'll take ownership of manufacturing processes, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement across ceramic core production.The RoleDevelop and optimise manufacturing processes (mix preparation, injection, firing) to improve yield, reduce defects and shorten cycle timesProvide day-to-day engineering support to production, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actionsEnsure processes meet QMS standards and customer specifications, with strong working knowledge of AS9100 Rev DLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methodologiesGenerate tooling build instructions and liaise with customers and toolmakers to ensure tooling meets specificationSpecify and maintain manufacturing equipment and tooling to ensure performance and safetyCreate and maintain process documentation, work instructions and technical reportsSupport new product introduction alongside Quality, R&D and Production teamsEnsure compliance with safety standards, including risk assessments and safe handling of materialsAbout YouYou'll be an experienced Manufacturing or Process Engineer with proven knowledge of AS9100 Rev D within a regulated, high-spec environment such as aerospace or advanced materials.
