Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Planned Works Contract Manager to join our team, based in Salford, working on Eccles New Road Planned Works Contracts in the Wirral area. We now seek a Planned Works Contract Manager to liaise across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the commercial delivery of operational repairs and contracts.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading a team of Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers
2. Managing a multi-disciplinary team of trade operatives, agency workers, apprentices, sub-contractors, and contracts profitably
3. Ensuring systems are in place to guarantee high-quality workmanship by all operatives and subcontractors
4. Delivering a cost-effective, customer-focused operational repairs service across all maintenance activities
5. Managing financial budgets per contract
6. Implementing processes for continuous improvement in responsive repairs, voids, and planned services
7. Deputising for the Regional Director when necessary
Ideal candidate requirements:
* Experience and competence in all aspects of building disciplines, including inspection of repairs, measurement, specifications, and post-inspections, ideally within social housing
* Recognised first aid qualification
* Working knowledge of QL, Open Contractor, and ASSURE (desirable)
* Building qualification at HNC level or equivalent
* Up-to-date SMSTS and IOSH qualifications (essential)
