Hays are working in partnership with a global manufacturing organisation based in Worcester as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their strong finance team for a period of 6 months. Over the years, our client has grown at a rapid pace through innovation, acquisition and overseas investment to be a world leader in their field.
Your new role
Reporting into an excellent Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process.
Main duties:
1. Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
2. Resolving supplier queries and discrepancies
3. Preparing and processing payment runs
4. Reconciling supplier statements
5. Ensuringpliance with internal controls to maintain integrity of financial data
6. Supporting with month-end close activities
What you'll need to succeed
7. AAT qualified (or equivalent) - QBE candidates will also be considered
8. Strong accounts payable experience (3-5 years)
9. Manufacturing background (highly desirable)
10. Able to work well independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
11. Excellentmunication and relationship-building skills
12. Highly proficient in Excel and SAP
