Senior Project Manager – TipTopJob
Location: Liverpool (hybrid working available)
Term: Permanent
Salary: GBP 55,000 – 65,000 (dependent on experience)
Company: Specialist manufacturer of bespoke products primarily in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
* 5 or more years of Project Management experience at Senior or near Senior level
* Experience with Capex Projects
* Experience working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes
* Experience delivering turnkey projects
* Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualification
* Educational or hands‑on background in Engineering
* Background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial
* Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Strong client‑facing experience
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Flexibility to travel as required
Responsibilities
* Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
* Organising projects, implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures
* Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
* Producing detailed work schedules, resource and project plans
* Liaising with clients as required and keeping them up to date with project progress
* Working with design, purchasing and production departments
* Presenting project plans and reports to management
* Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
* Maintaining technical documentation as required
* Mentoring junior members of the team
* Occasional travel as required
