Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Registered general nurse level 1/ Diploma / BSc in Nursing studies.
* Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
* Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
* Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
* Excellent clinical applied knowledge, evidenced-based, aligned with national best practice standards.
* Basic workload / shift management skills.
* Understanding of workload and shift management.
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
* Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
Duties of this role include:
* Maintain standards of patient care in accordance with operational policies and procedures. Enhance customer service and satisfaction. Promote and safeguard the well-being of Patients, Employees, and Consultants. Deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse when appropriate.
* Provide individualised patient care of excellent standards.
* Advocate for safeguarding patients; speak up about concerns regarding care.
* Adhere to the NMC and HCPC codes of professional conduct.
