SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Peterlee, County Durham Contract Type: Flexible (dd-hoc, Short-Term & Long-Term Supply) Start Date: ASAP Pay: Competitive, £90-£110 p/day, depending on experience (PAYE) Training: Team Teach training available through Veritas' in-house lead trainer! We are working with a specialist SEN provision in Peterlee that caters to pupils aged 2-19 with a wide range of complex learning needs. About the Role: Support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support in both classroom and 1:1 settings Contribute to a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment Opportunities available for both daily cover and longer-term placements What We're Looking For: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or working with children/young people with additional needs is desirable Graduates with a passion for SEN and a desire to transition into education are also encouraged to apply A calm, patient, and empathetic approach A commitment to inclusive education and supporting every learner to thrive Why Join Us?
