Join our Homes team as a Buying Coordinator and you'll be part of our legacy The role is responsible for awarding and managing work and materials contracts for building residential homes, as well as making payments and monitoring and controlling development costs. The role also involves communicating important information to external companies and colleagues, following company policies and procedures. The Buying Coordinator will provide coordination and administrative support to the Procurement Team, helping them to achieve their monthly deadlines and objectives and maintain supply chain relationships. The role is ad hoc in nature and requires the ability to manage multiple work streams to deadlines. This role is based out of our Kettering office on a hybrid work pattern. What you'll be doing As a Buying Coordinator you will have the following responsibilities: Award and manage work and materials contracts for building residential homes. Make payments and monitor and control development costs. Communicate important information to external companies and colleagues. Follow company policies and procedures. Provide coordination and administrative support to the Procurement team. Manage multiple work streams to deadlines. Who we're looking for The following skills are essential for this position: Experience: Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role in a busy environment. Software skills: You must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Eque2, Oracle R12, Pims payment systems is a plus, but training will be provided. Communication skills: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organization and time management: You must be self-motivated and well-organized, with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. You must also be able to work to deadlines. Analytical skills: You must have strong analytical skills.
