This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is patient, nurturing, and eager to help children develop confidence, independence, and key early learning skills. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: Support teachers in delivering play-based and structured learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Assist with the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and support children’s progress, providing feedback to teaching staff. Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in young pupils. Requirements for EYFS Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting children in an EYFS setting is desirable. A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
