Office Manager – Global Retail Business (West End)

Are you a dynamic and service-focused Office Manager looking for your next challenge? Our client, a prestigious global retail business based in the West End, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the smooth operation of their office and lead an upcoming office relocation project.


About the Role

As Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and functionality of a 180+ person office, working closely with Senior Leadership to facilitate a seamless office move. You will be the go-to person for all office-related matters, fostering a collaborative and professional environment while managing a small reception/facilities team.


Key Responsibilities

* Office Operations & Facilities Management
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained workspace.
* Act as the primary contact for building management, addressing all facility-related issues.
* Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
* Oversee third-party services, including statutory testing, cleaning contractors, and supplier partnerships.
* Reception & Meeting Room Management
* Ensure a professional reception and switchboard service, delivering a positive experience for all visitors.
* Manage meeting rooms and hot desks, including refreshment provisions for meetings.
* Health & Safety Compliance
* Ensure adherence to H&S regulations, including fire warden and first-aider training.
* Maintain emergency evacuation procedures and compliance with safety standards.
* Office Relocation Project
* Lead the operational aspects of the office move, ensuring all building services are set up from day one.
* Oversee move management, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.


About You

To excel in this role, you will have:

✔ Proven experience as an Office Manager within a corporate environment.

✔ A track record of managing office relocations, handling logistics and planning.

✔ Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a small team.

✔ Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, adept at handling last-minute changes.

✔ A proactive and service-oriented mindset, fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
