Pay & Hours
Rate: £12.71 per hour. Working week: 25 hours over 3 days (Monday to Sunday). We offer flexible working hours where possible.
Job Role
As a Supervisor you will work alongside our team to prepare fresh ingredients and produce sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items to company standards, while delivering excellent customer service. You will support the Shop Manager with day‑to‑day operations, supervise the team, and drive sales and cost control to generate profit.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
* Receive and check daily deliveries.
* Assist with branch stock and produce management.
* Maintain shop displays.
* Demonstrate excellent product knowledge.
* Prepare food in line with specifications.
* Maintain food quality control.
* Ensure the highest level of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
* Work efficiently within a team.
* Handle cash and operate the till.
* Open or close the shop when required.
* Run shifts at various times during the week.
* Drive sales and minimise wastage.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at a supervisory level.
* Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; full ongoing training will be provided.
