Purpose:
To develop, integrate, and support business applications and databases, ensuring reliable performance within legislative and best practice standards. Collaborate with the ICT team to deliver seamless services and a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead technical aspects of applications and technologies across on-premise and cloud environments.
– Manage system upgrades, problem resolution, and development projects through regular stakeholder engagement.
– Ensure effective diagnosis, management, and resolution of application issues with a customer-focused approach.
– Contribute to business continuity planning, testing, and system enhancements.
– Maintain strong relationships with third-party suppliers and act as the primary contact for system management.
– Analyse business requirements, prepare technical plans, and recommend solutions aligned with standards and budgets.
– Diagnose faults, anticipate obstacles, and develop solutions for complex technical issues.
– Produce operational documentation and manage data security, recovery, capacity, and availability.
– Develop interfaces, routines, and deployment packages to support system operations.
– Negotiate with stakeholders and collaborate with teams to resolve customer issues effectively.
